Well, I after a three-week unintentional anime and blogging hiatus it is time to get back into the swing of things. I am behind on everything, except a few shows, where I am only behind on the recent episode. Still, I plan to catch up on a lot of different shows. For now, I think I am going to try to keep a theme going for these posts. This week’s theme will be the more slice of life series.
Like always, if there is a show airing this season that you think I might enjoy or would like to see me cover, feel free to recommend it.
Hitoriboochi no Marumaruseikatsu Episode 4-7
This show is easily one of my favorites this season. It has that nice mix of cute, funny, and relax feeling to it. These batch of episodes allowed to introduce new characters while still giving focus on the ones we already know, giving both a comedic description of how they act, and well, how others see them. It was honestly pretty funny seeing the teacher think that the nervous quiet main character is secretly a gang leader. Still, easily a highlight of the season for me is this show. Which is starting to come off as a polar opposite to the next show I am talking about.
The Helpful Fox Senko-san Episode 4-6
Even with the introductory to a new character, this show being cute and relaxing at times still has me questioning why I am watching it when certain cringe worthy scenes appear. I am mostly referring to the bathing scene in episode 5. It really bugged me. The other stuff hasn’t bothered me as much so far, but it was that scene that made me stop the episode and move right into the next. I mean if more scenes like that appear, I won’t be surprised if I drop this show, but, if they don’t I can see myself watching to completion.
Not much, since like I said I took an unintentional blogging and anime break. So, I am behind on a lot. I plan on catching up on:
Demon Slayer, We Never Learn, Fairy Gone, Fruit Basket, and Gundam Origin. Not sure about a few other shows, but, those ones are certainly on my list to catch up on. I plan on waiting for One Punch Man to end before watching that.
While this was a short post this time, next time I hope to have more to talk about, given the fact I am so far behind.
As always I hope you enjoyed.
Anime Corps has plenty of other things from reviews, editorials, and more to check out, all from other writers.
I am mostly the editor here, but only my personal blog, The Reviewer’s Corner, I have more weekly reviews and a list series. That is here.
Until next time.
