Well, after two weeks I got into Fairy Gone finally. I still need to see the final episode of the first half of the third season of Attack on Titan before starting the newest half. Still, a few shows to talk about, and certainly there is one other show on my radar to check out. So, let’s get right into it.

Fairy Gone: Episode 1-3

Plot: People have fairy powers and they fight after this war ended and seemingly some yuri undertones will hopefully mean something for once.

I am glad this show is confirmed to be two cour since it is certainly slow paced. While I do give it praise for its score, and honestly it is nice to see plenty of variety in music, also that opening is rather good. The action is good, and I find few issues with the show. The only issue again is the slow pacing, it feels like no real story has been developed, just hinted at in the first few episodes. The characters haven’t been given real focus which is the main issue. Still, I want to see this show through.

week 4 fairy gone 2

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin Episode 1

Plot: So, it is a retelling of the OVAs, which is just based on the manga that is a retelling of the original series from the 1970s. So, yeah.

Like always with Gundam series I get somewhat lost on the political aspects in the first few episodes and can only really get into them when the mecha fights happen. This was no different as it was mostly all political stuff. I did like the older Mobile Suits, but still.

week 4 gundam the origin

Hitoribocchi no Marumaruseikatsu Episode 2-4 Thoughts

Plot: She is still trying to make friends.

Honestly, I am rather enjoying this show, it is a nice relaxing show to come back to each week, with no real plans for me to watch it just whenever rather than the second it is released. I am certainly okay with that too. The episode starts to have more jokes and whatnot, but also give more character development. While Bocchi might not be outgoing any time soon, it is nice to see her develop as a character in making friends.

Week 3 Boochi

Other Shows:

I honestly fell behind on Fruit Baskets, which I find rather upsetting, granted being two episodes behind is never the end, it still upsets me since I do rather enjoy it.

One Punch Man season two I am partially tempted to do what I did back in the first season and just watch all episodes in one sitting, I only say this since I only saw the first two episodes so far.

We Never Learn, I am surprisingly enjoying it and caught up, I honestly just did not feel like talking about it this week since I want to keep this series of posts to be limited to focusing on 3 to 4 series each time.

There are other shows I am still watching, I just figured those would be worth mentioning.

As always feel free to comment what you are watching this season and your thoughts on them.

As a side note I would like to mention how honestly I do like doing these posts, I don’t feel as obligated to get it out weekly. Either way I hope you enjoy as I plan to continue to do these.

As always I hope you enjoyed.

Anime Corps has plenty of other things from reviews, editorials, and more to check out, all from other writers.

I am mostly the editor here, but only my personal blog, The Reviewer’s Corner, I have more weekly reviews and a list series. That is here.

Until next time.
